After implementing redundancy, we haven't experienced any further issues or random disconnects on our network.
We're pleased to announce that we've begun the cross-connect process. The data center will now handle the necessary cabling for our cross-connect, with an estimated completion time of 3-5 days. Once the cross-connect is established, we expect all issues to be fully resolved.

We are issuing this maintenance notice to provide updates regarding the recent disruptions in our Virginia location.
Virginia has been a consistently stable location for us since we started, with minimal downtime—just about 4 hours in total—over the past two years. We are committed to restoring that stability as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience or issues you've experienced recently.
There were significant and random disconnections at our Virginia location. As a result, we have terminated our cross-connect with CosmicGuard and introduced Gcore as our new DDoS protection provider and permanent ISP.
Currently, we are utilizing a GRE tunnel with Gcore. However, due to the high volume of traffic in Virginia, the GRE tunnel can become unstable, leading to random drops lasting approximately 10-15 minutes. To address this, we have added additional redundancy by setting up multiple GRE tunnels as fallbacks, along with another ISP backup.
How will this issue be resolved, and when can we return to our regular uptime that we are known for?
We have already ordered a direct cross-connect with Gcore, which will eliminate the need for GRE tunnels and allow us to be directly connected to Gcore.
What does the switch from CosmicGuard to Gcore mean for our DDoS protection?
Gcore will fully take over DDoS protection in Virginia. We’ve been in discussions with Gcore for nearly two years before ultimately choosing CosmicGuard for unrelated reasons. Under Gcore’s protection, we have already been shielded from DDoS attacks without any issues. Eventually, we plan to extend Gcore’s protection to all our locations.
In addition to partnering with Gcore, we will also be expanding into Miami, Chicago, Brazil, South Africa, and other exclusive locations that Gcore covers.
We will share more information as it becomes available. We greatly appreciate our customers' patience and understanding during this time.
Thank you for your continued support!
