Our DDoS partner, CosmicGuard, based in Dallas, has begun migrating away from their current data center. Previously, we were in the same facility, allowing for a direct cross-connect with them, providing faster and more stable connections without relying on unreliable GRE tunnels, which are detrimental to maintaining a healthy network. Initially, we were informed that they would maintain a presence at the current data center, but that is no longer the case.

At this time, we will not be moving to CosmicGuard's new data center. With a significant amount of equipment and servers, we want to avoid putting our customers through such a transition right now. This may change in the future, but for now, we will remain in our current setup.

Since we will no longer be cross-connected with CosmicGuard starting October 1st, we are exploring alternative ways to establish a direct connection with them and avoid using a GRE tunnel.

We have decided to make a significant investment by ordering a transport wave to CosmicGuard in Dallas. In the meantime, we will temporarily transition to a GRE tunnel in Dallas until the transport wave is fully installed and operational.

The switch is scheduled for tomorrow, 9/28/2024 at 10:00 A.M EST, and while we anticipate no service disruptions, we will keep you informed of any changes or updates.
