We are scheduling an urgent network maintenance to resolve some critical issues in our core networking infrastructure. We apologize for the short notice.

We'll be performing upgrades to our DDoS mitigation platform.

We're not expecting this to impact user traffic. But we do recommend making your players aware of this window.

Reason for the datacenter power outage:

Severe storms and tornadoes in Texas caused significant damage and loss of life, but our facility should have remained operational despite a prolonged loss of utility power, as it has in the past. The entire Dallas data center has gone dark for everyone. These systems undergo regular testing but it failed to act correctly during the power outage.

Cosmic Guard:

We will be performing software upgrades on our routing infrastructure in Amsterdam which will require a hard reboot. Expected downtime is 15 minutes. This may be felt in neighboring PoPs as we re-route traffic between PoPs.

This is now completed. If your VPS is offline, log into your VPS dashboard and turn it on.

We already have moved all the servers over to the new rack and servers are back online.

We are going to do one final restart to each server to update the IPMI for your power commands.

We will be initiating migrations for several DDR5 VPS servers located on the following nodes:

• Bison
• Pig
• Earl
• Racoon
• Alligator

During this process, your VPS servers will simply lose internet.

Important: Do not restart your VPS server if you want to avoid un-saved work on it.
